Ronan Farrow

Website Design

Ronan Farrow is an award-winning author, journalist, and producer. He needed a website that showcased his credibility and body of work in one organized, accessible space. We designed his site with individual pages for each medium and a homepage that presents everything clearly, without overwhelming users on desktop or mobile.

The Challenge

Ronan didn't have a place where users could find all his work. They had to visit individual news outlets, YouTube, Amazon, bookstores, and more just to get the full picture of who he is. This scattered presence was driving traffic to other platforms rather than his own, making it harder for people to see the full scope of his career in a single visit. His social media helped guide users, but it only showcased pieces of his work, not the complete picture. He'd also won several awards, yet none of them were mentioned anywhere, leaving a major part of his credibility invisible to users. On top of that, he had no dedicated space for his current work or a formal way for people to contact him, leaving inquiries without a clear path to reach him.

Our Approach

The biggest pain points were the lack of a single place where users could find his books, articles, appearances, contact information, or his production group's work, so we built individual pages to organize it all. His books got their own page, giving users a way to purchase, learn more, and see the awards and recognitions each title has received. Since articles and appearances update frequently, we built templates that make it easy for his team to keep them current. We also created a dedicated page for the Ronan Production Group to showcase its projects, link out to where people can watch or listen, and highlight its awards and recognitions. Finally, because Ronan receives inquiries for many different reasons, a contact page was essential, so we added one that directs users to the right point of contact.
